Scott Meadows


Director

Scott founded Meadows and Ross in 2020, building on years of consultancy experience within the construction industry. With a background in building physics, he has developed deep expertise in assessing and improving the performance of buildings, from site-wide masterplans to the fine detail of individual components.

As Founder and Director, Scott not only leads on technical delivery but also sets the strategic vision for Meadows and Ross. He plays a hands-on role in shaping the company’s approach, guiding project teams through complex regulations and methodologies to achieve practical, effective, and future-proof solutions. Under his leadership, the company has become known for its ability to balance rigorous analysis with clear, actionable advice that drives real-world performance improvements.

In recent years, Scott’s focus has broadened in response to the evolving needs of the UK construction industry, with particular expertise in Passive House, Retrofit, and Net-Zero Carbon strategies. He takes pride in positioning Meadows and Ross at the forefront of sustainable design, ensuring the business not only responds to industry change but helps to shape it.

Outside of work Scott enjoys snowboarding, cooking, and going on road trips in his caravan.

- Section 6 (Energy) Approved Certifier of Design (Domestic and Non-Domestic)

- Member of the Institute of Physics
