Danny Lockwood
Building Performance Consultant
Danny is a Building Performance Consultant with over five years’ experience in Whole Life Carbon, operational energy modelling, and environmental assessment in the built environment. He is passionate about supporting low-carbon design through quantitative analysis and early-stage strategy, helping clients achieve meaningful reductions in carbon impact.
He began his career delivering Whole Life Carbon assessments and preparing Circular Economy Statements to support planning requirements and sustainability certifications, including those required by the Greater London Authority and BREEAM. He has also provided operational energy modelling for a wide range of residential, commercial, and heritage projects, including in support of NABERS UK Design for Performance.
Danny undertook postgraduate research at the University of Cambridge, focusing on climate mitigation and overheating risk in UK homes. His academic and professional expertise is supported by specialist knowledge of OneClick LCA, alongside experience with IES VE, EnergyPlus, and Python.
Outside of work, Danny enjoys exploring his creative side through street photography and a love of books. He also makes the most of any chance to be outdoors, whether hiking in the hills or camping with friends.
